Joined Advantage Partners in June 2018.
He is responsible for overseeing investments and value add activities for companies in the IT sector （Estore, Metaps, VisasQ, Rakumo, Sun Corporation, Aplix, Canbas, and Appbank）, restaurants and BtoC space （ARCLAND SERVICE HOLDINGS, Hiramatsu, SLD Entertainment, and Asante）, as well as the manufacturing industry （ASAHI EITO）.
He has created value and spurred inorganic growth among portfolio companies by spearheading several initiatives including M&A, PMI, business restructuring, business plan creation, the hiring of senior managers, KPI revisions, operational support （pricing optimization and sales/marketing support）, and the bolstering of IR functions.
Prior to joining the firm, he was the head of the President’s office at a Japanese apparel company, STRIPE INTERNATIONAL INC., and was involved with business development and planning, and also oversaw M&A and PMI activities. Before that he worked in equity research at JP Morgan Securities Japan Co., Ltd. where he analyzed companies in the chemical and food industries.
He graduated with a B.S. in Economics from The University of Tokyo and an MBA from Kyoto University.
