Mr. Shimada Joined Advantage Advisors in May 2024 while concurrently working at NTT DOCOMO, Inc. After graduating from university, Mr. Shimada joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) and was involved in corporate sales consulting, systems engineering, data center work, content planning and development, and business strategy for 25 years. He most recently worked at NTT East, where he was engaged in a wide range of digitalization consulting (L5G, BCP, security, AI, etc.) for manufacturing clients. He built a B2B2X model with system integrators as the head of the data center business, and received the President’s Commendation (2017). Prior to that, he was involved in the establishment of a new sales department and business strategy and marketing.　Previous to this position, he was seconded to NTT ExCPartner Corporation (formerly NTT Learning Systems Corporation), where he was engaged in content planning and development, e-commerce site launches, and new business planning.
Before that, he was engaged in the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of digital networks for central ministries, independent administrative agencies, and municipalities as a net- working consultant and project manager at NTT HQ Corporate Sales Division. When he first joined the company, he was in charge of systems engineering and was involved in the design and construction of many systems in collaboration with SMEs and start-ups.
He graduated from the Department of Industrial Management in the Faculty of Engineering, at the Shibaura Institute of Technology. He also holds a Master of Technology Management (MOT) from the Graduate School of Engineering Management at the Shibaura Institute of Technology.
